Andrew Cheah

Hello and good day to you! I am Andrew.

The oft-mentioned phrase “sharing and learning” is what I believe one of the greatest ever coined – the mutually enhancing loop of learning THEN sharing, and sharing THEN learning is so true – and it is what I strongly believe in since 1991 when I first started practicing training and consulting. It is truly the best of both worlds!

My passion is in the areas of performance management, productivity improvement, behavioral change, and leadership, which collectively have tremendous impact on an organization’s success when executed well. As a trainer and consultant, I am privileged to have had the opportunity to not only train, but to guide all levels of client’s personnel towards hands-on implementation of successful programs – an example of which is guiding an organization in winning the prestigious Malaysian National Productivity Award (category: company with annual revenue in excess of USD 100 million), presented by the previous Malaysian Prime Minister, Dr. Mahathir.

I also feel honored to have been invited to speak at events such as International Conference on Best Practices, which was graced by senior officials from the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), sharing the stage with Professor Michael Gregory of the University of Cambridge, Mr Dieter Heyl (2007 Vice President of Mercedes Benz Malaysia), and Dr Marcus Chao, President of Lean China Enterprise Inc. Academically I have an MBA degree qualification with the University of Portsmouth, UK, while professionally my experience in international consultancy has earned me a membership with the Association of Productivity Specialist (New York), in addition to being a qualified ISO 9000 assessor certified by SIRIM of Malaysia.

I hope to meet up with you soon, and to have a unique opportunity to share with you my combined experience of training and consulting – hopefully by giving you the best of both worlds!
